Oh well, at this time of the year, you know snowflake tatting is inevitable...
At least I switched books this time :)
|
Rounds 1 and 2 of the Knobby Snowflake from "Christmas Angles and other Tatting Patterns" |
I almost stopped here out of laziness and because it was late at night, but we were binge watching a tv show and my husband started another episode, so I decided to finish the motif for real:
|
Motif 47 (#14 on the way to 25 by the 25th) done in size 80 DMC |
Pip is clearly impressed with my tatting skills ;)
I haven't decided yet what today's motif will be...time will tell, I guess :)
Oh, that's soo cute, funny I have that book and didn't notice that pattern till your blog, now got to try that too!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yes, it was actually a really fun pattern to tat...but tough in tiny size 80! :)
DeleteI had to laugh, is he choosing another design for you???
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely snowflake, I have done at least two from that book and today my blog has the second one, one of my favourites
Margaret
I think he was trying to tell me to stop tatting and play with him...he is a very expressive dog! :)
DeleteKristen, all your tatting is looking very tasty, but can I just tell you, I LOVE Pip! He is just adorable. Dues he speak Russian yet? My guess is that he just might, but is guarding his intelligence and not letting on!
ReplyDeleteFox. : )) xxoo
I'm pretty sure Pip speaks English, Spanish and Russian now...he seems to be a quick study with languages, certainly better than me! We'll know in February where our next post is, maybe he'll have to be quadrilingual! :) The one thing he doesn't get, however is cats, so I'm sure he and Mr. G would be best friends :)
