Thank you! Yes, I am very excited to get to Australia and see if I can meet with some tatters there! I haven't heard of anyone in the ACT yet, but I live in hope! :)
Oh yes, there will definitely be tatting on the plane from Russia to the US and from the US to Australia. I have over 30 hours of plane time to "look forward to" in the coming months. Ugh! Oh well, tatting is a good way to pass the time, I just hope I don't run out of thread! :)
Hope they have a safe journey and you will be reunited quickly. I expect you kept something back to do until you are both back together again. Take care and a safe journey to your new home. At least Australia will be warmer than Russia Margaret
Thank you, Margaret, me too!!! I have my doubts about the movers hired to pack our stuff, but hopefully everything arrives unscathed! :) it was -14 C here today, with a biting wind. Chris and I keep saying to each other, "It will never be this cold in Canberra!"
You'll be adding another orange area to your map when you get to Australia! You're going to find a very strong tatting community there. Have a safe journey! I guess it's still summer there?
Have a safe journey. Hope to see you back in action soon :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you! So much travel ahead! Yikes!!
DeleteSafe travels! Australia has a number of good tatters. You can communicate and knot with the locals!
